To activate Ranorex Subscription License, follow the steps below. Also, find some troubleshooting tips in case any issues arise during activation.
Requirements
To successfully activate and validate a subscription license, ensure the following:
- Ability to connect via HTTPS (port 443).
- Access to
https://keygen.sh/and its subdomains for license validation. - If your network uses an authenticated proxy, configure the proxy settings in the Configure Ranorex License dialog.
- Installed versions:
- To use the online subscription licensing model, ensure you use Ranorex Studio version 12.1.2 or higher.
- To use the self-hosted subscription licensing model, ensure you use Ranorex Studio version 12.5.0 or higher.
- Download and install Ranorex Studio using the following link: Ranorex Studio Downloads.
- After installation, open Ranorex Studio. Navigate to the Help menu in the top toolbar, then select Licensing… to open the Configure Ranorex License dialog.
- In the License dialog, select the Subscription option to proceed with subscription-based licensing.
-
Enter the License Key provided, click Validate to confirm, and continue the activation process.
If you encounter a validation error, ensure your license is still valid; otherwise, renew it. If the error message states that the maximum activations have been reached, deactivate any unused machines to free up activations.
