You can configure subscription licenses using the License Configuration Tool, even if Ranorex Studio is not installed on the machine. This allows users with subscription licenses to configure licensing on runtime/agent machines.
- The License Configuration Tool is bundled with the Ranorex Runtime installer.
It does not require Studio to be present on the machine. - You can configure and activate subscription licenses directly on Runtime-only machines using this tool.
- An Enterprise license is not required to access this functionality.
The Runtime installer provides the necessary components for license configuration, regardless of your license tier.
Note: When configuring licenses from within Ranorex Studio, this may temporarily consume an Enterprise license seat. However, this limitation does not apply to Runtime-only configurations using the standalone tool.
