Use this article to troubleshoot authentication errors that occur when installing a Node-locked License.
Issue
If your machine cannot connect to the authentication server during installation, an Authentication Error message appears.
Option 1: Use manual authentication
Use this option if you want Ranorex Support to authenticate the license file manually.
- In the error dialog, click Yes.
- Save the license file locally.
- Email the license file to
support@ranorex.com - Use the following email subject
License file authentication
Ranorex authenticates the file and returns it for manual installation.
Option 2: Use offline installation
Use this option if the machine does not have internet access.
- In the error dialog, click No.
- Follow the Install without internet connection workflow.
