Adding New Items

Ranorex Studio provides several templates that you add to a project using the Project menu or the Project Explorer context menu. 

To add a new item to your project, do the following:

1. Open the Project menu or right-click a specific folder within your project in the Project view.
2. Select Add > New Item….
   
3. In the Add New Item dialog, choose a template from the list.
   1. Ranorex-specific files: Code module, module groups, recording module, user code collection, and repository
   2. Programming language-specific files: Class, interface, struct, and form.
   3. Miscellaneous files: Empty resource and text files.
4. Enter a name for the item in the Name field.
5. Click Create.
