Ranorex Studio 12.8.0 Release (July 29, 2026)
Ranorex Studio 12.8 adds support for additional Mescius Windows Forms controls and includes fixes for mobile testing, APK installation, and license validation in restricted network environments.
Improvements
- Ranorex Studio now supports Mescius MultiRowPlus for Windows Forms 12 and Mescius SPREAD for Windows Forms 17.0J in .NET Framework and .NET applications, providing native recognition of their controls and cells without requiring GDI+ capture.
- Improved support for Mescius Spread for WPF controls in .NET Framework and .NET applications.
Bugs
- The MobileKeyPress DEL action in Flutter Android no longer closes unexpectedly or causes a crash and now works as expected.
- Resolved an issue where installing an APK with Ranorex prevented tests that require a Bluetooth connection from running.
- Ranorex Studio no longer requires access to the time.windows.com NTP server for license validation.
