Download, install, and set up Ranorex Studio in just a few simple steps. After setup is complete, you can continue with the basics and start creating your first automated test.
Screencast: Install Ranorex Studio and create your first test walks you through the process of installing the software and shows you how to create a new solution.
- Go to the Free Trial and follow the on-screen instructions to download Ranorex Studio.
- When the download is complete, locate the file and extract it into a new folder.
- Open the new folder and run the prerequisites application to install everything required for the version you are installing.
- Run the setup file and follow the instructions in the Installation Wizard. For more information about the installation process, see Download and Install Ranorex Studio.
- When the installation is complete, the Welcome to Ranorex Studio evaluation dialog opens.
- Select I have a license if you have a license and want to activate it.
- Select Start free trial to use the evaluation version.
- In the Licensing dialog, choose any of the following options:
- Install license to enter your license information and activate Ranorex Studio.
- Continue evaluation to confirm your trial.

- In the Ranorex Studio configuration dialog, indicate whether you want to share your usage statistics and select your preferred theme.
- Select Save and continue.
Ranorex Studio launches the start page and displays the Solution Wizard.
