Warning: Subscription licenses do not require the License Manager to be installed. To prevent unexpected issues, ensure that no other license types rely on the previous License Manager software, or uninstall it completely.
To activate Ranorex Subscription license, follow the steps below. Also, find some troubleshooting tips in case any issues arise during activation.
- Download and install Ranorex Studio using the following link, Ranorex Studio Downloads.
Note: Ensure you are using Ranorex Studio version 12.1.2 or higher for Subscription Licensing.
- After installation, open Ranorex Studio. Navigate to the Help menu in the top toolbar, then select Licensing… to open the Configure Ranorex License dialog.
- In the License dialog, select the Subscription option to proceed with subscription-based licensing.
- Enter the License Key provided, click Validate to confirm, and continue the activation process.
If you encounter a validation error, make sure your license is still valid; otherwise, renew the license. In case the error message states that the maximum activations have been reached, deactivate any unused machines to free up activations.
